We are expanding our funding division and are seeking a high-performance Funding & Lending Specialist to help entrepreneurs and small businesses secure capital while ensuring clients receive guidance that aligns with both business growth and long-term financial strategy.

The Funding & Lending Specialist will serve as the primary capital advisor for business clients seeking working capital, loans, and strategic financing solutions. This role is not transactional sales — it is advisory-based, client-focused lending involving real underwriting logic, business analysis, and deal structuring.

You will help clients evaluate financing options including:

• Small business loans
• Lines of credit
• Business term loans
• Merchant cash advances (MCAs)
• Equipment financing
• Startup capital
• Bridge capital & restructuring scenarios

This is a high-impact role that sits at the intersection of finance, advisory, and growth strategy.

• Consult business owners to determine funding needs and eligibility
• Analyze business bank statements and financials
• Match clients to appropriate lending products
• Coordinate with underwriting partners and lenders
• Manage funding lifecycle from intake through closing
• Structure funding to complement tax planning and business operations
• Review debt structures and optimize repayment strategies
• Educate clients on capital deployment and financial impact
• Maintain accurate CRM activity logs and funding pipeline
• Collaborate with tax and advisory teams for optimal client outcomes

• 1+ year experience in business lending, underwriting, or funding
• Understanding of business financial statements
• Strong phone and client-communication skills
• Ability to explain complex products in simplified terms
• Organized, professional, and detail-oriented
• Self-motivated and goal-oriented

• Experience with MCA, SBA loans, alt-lending, or finance brokerage
• CRM experience (HubSpot, Salesforce, GoHighLevel, etc.)
• Financial advisory mindset
• Prior work with SMB clients
• Licensing or finance coursework is a plus

• Base salary: $50,000 – $75,000 (DOE)
• Commission: Uncapped (per deal placed)
